Singapore Part 3

3rd day we went to Singapore Zoo and Night Safari, we had so much fun especially at the Zoo. I'd love to go back to Singapore and explore the zoo again, and visit Jurong bird park coz we weren't able to go super sayang and also to visit Universal studios which will open next year.

Singapore Part 2

Our 2nd day at Singapore was spent at Sentosa Island, we had whole day of fun but tiring day. monorail going to Sentosa Island

Got our tickets last week for the 1st showing day on Nov. 20 hehehe I'm so excited can't wait to see Edward.

Singapore Part 1

We landed at Changi airport around 6pm, it's raining hard that night so after checking in the hotel we cross the street to Takashimaya to have dinner, of course i insist on eating at Crystal Jade hehehe even if we have to wait for 30 mins for our table since it's a friday night.

I really like the xiao long bao there but i think the noodle soup at bangkok crystal jade tasted better, we also tried Crystal Jade Kitchen i swear the food was so great we ate there twice hehehe i'm gonna post it next time. I hope we'll have crystal jade here.

Just Got Back

last night, took the 7:30 pm flight back to manila, we're so tired and still sleepy but back to reality, mika's back to school and we're back to work. I'll post about our trip soon.

Off to Singapore

tomorrow afternoon, our morning flight was cancelled and changed to afternoon for some reason, bad trip! sayang 1 day. We'll be there for 5 days and 4 nights.

I also plan to eat at Crystal Jade restaurant been craving for it ever since i've tried it in Bangkok and Singapore is the main branch so hopefully it would taste better. I hope we could try to eat at hawkers stall, too bad we can't try the resto that my SIL has been recommending for the best hainanese chicken rice in Singapore we just don't have enough time to go around, i don't even have time to go shopping so this trip is really for my daughter.

My Bestfriend's Wedding

this was mika's 7th time to be a flower girl, she really enjoyed it feeling like a princess, but i think this would be her last since she's so big na for a flower girl in fact she's the biggest of the three flower girls=), next time she would be a junior bridesmaid OMG! big girl na tlga.

Rare Silver Coin

Hubby and I celebrated our 7^th year anniversary last july and we talked about investing our money wisely, I always buy designer bags and shoes I know I could pass it on to my daughter that is always my reason hehehe but this time I really want to invest my money not for things that would depreciate in time, I’m thinking of buying more jewelries or watches for me and hubby and maybe some few pieces for my daughter. One of my friend suggested that I could also invest in rare silver coin at first I do not have any idea about it, but I did my research and found out that it is indeed a good investment, I have to explain everything to hubby first and I hope everything works out before the year ends.

Bungi

Mika lose her first baby tooth last Sept 20 while the yaya's helping her brush her teeth, she cried a bit and got emotional seeing her tooth, the permanent teeth at the back of her front teeth came out already so we're already waiting for the baby teeth to fall off. Last Oct 9 i brought her to the dentist to have the other tooth removed, they gave her nitrous oxide or what they call laughing gas coz she's a bit scared and it's only her 2nd time to visit the dentist, i'm also not allowed inside, the dentist explained that she would cooperate more if im not there, after few minutes she's done without any complains, no more effect from the laughing gas and holding her prize from the dentist.

Christmas List

I want to do my christmas shopping early this year, i will start with my nephew, niece, my daughter's classmates and my godchildren, i'm enjoying buying clothes and toys for the kids, but this year i'm thinking of buying something that is really useful, i'm already checking online sites for different items and so far i'm eyeing the stephen joseph quilted backpack it is so cute for the little girls and maybe personalized kids backpacks for the boys, i'm just not sure if they have bigger bags for my daughter's classmates i want it big so they could use it in school and maybe i could put name on each backpack that would be so cute. I'm also thinking of giving away laundry bag i saw a cute one but i'm not sure if the kids would appreciate it, one thing i'm sure at that the mommy's would love it, it is so hard to choose but whatever it is i hope they would love it. I hope i could finish my christmas list so i could start by next week.

Ondoy

It's my first time to see our garage flooded and it almost get into the house luckily it didn't, our guard said that at the front gate was knee deep. I'm so thankful that it spared my family and i want to help out in my own little way, if you also want to help, Red Cross is accepting donations via paypal, send it to give@redcross.org.ph i saw this post on multiply account of Jenni Epperson.

Please let's all pray for the victims of the Ondoy and that it would never happen again, and for the new typhoon Pepeng to change direction.

Hair Loss

Ever since i gave birth i've been experiencing excessive hair loss and it's been 6 yrs now so i'm pretty scared i want it to stop, i've tried going to a manghihilot coz baka nabinat daw according to my yaya it helps a little but i still experience hair loss, i've also tried changing my shampoo many times from dove to made of olive oil. My SIL have been suggesting that i use Lauat shampoo that she got at Landmark but it always slip my mind since i hardly go to Landmark, we went out last saturday and we passed by at Landmark, i was able to buy Lauat, i've been using it since sunday and so far so good, i'll use it for few more weeks and see what happens then i'll update you about it.

Need a New Car

We have been using our Nissan Xtrail for over 3 years now and hubby wants to sell it because you could smell the smoke from the bus and jeepneys even if hubby brought it many times to the car shop they can not seem to find the problem, mika uses the car every thursday for color coding and i do not want her to inhale the smoke from cars. I totally agree with hubby that we should let go of the old car and look for new cars available in the market now. Hubby has many new models in mind but i told him to research first, so we could decide for a better car that suits our needs.

Christmas Gift

I'm thinking of how i can start spending smart this coming christmas i do not want to over spend on buying gifts. Since today is the start of the BER month and christmas is just around the corner i want to look for the best gifts i could give to my love ones, gifts that they could really use. I have tried giving my mother in law a $8 RX eyeglasses and she loved it and now i'm planning to give her another one so she could have an extra pair. Zenni optical is my favorite high fashion eyeglasses because it is very affordable and still very stylish.

Paintball

Yesterday, after office I met with my sister in law at Fort Bonifacio to go to the dermatologist Dr. Aivee Teo , she went with her two teenager sons because they are having some breakouts also, OMG! Teenagers nowadays are so pampered my nephew even requested for a diamond peel . Anyway, while waiting for our turn they kept on talking about paintball of course I do not have any clue about those things it made me curious and join in the conversation, they patiently explain it to me and I think it is fun to try it I just do not know if my sister in law is willing to play with me. They want to have planet eclipse ego so they can play better next time and I’m thinking of giving it for Christmas, what do you think? I’m sure I would be their favorite auntie if I did that.

Best of Time

Hubby and I talked about buying a pair of rolex watches since we want to replace our old watch that we got on our engagement party. Rolex watch is so pricey that is why hubby got one for himself first yes I give way since he always buys me bags and stuff and he is the one that likes watches more that I do. He is so happy when he got his rolex watch here in Makati but he said that it is still not his dream watch would you believe now he wants a solid gold but I reminded him that next time it is my turn, anyway, I felt that the price here is so high but hubby can not wait to buy at Hongkong anymore, my friend is going to Hongkong tomorrow and I asked her to inquire about the price there maybe we could just get it there next time or maybe we could just order it online at www.bestoftime.com and they sell rolex watches at a very low price and guaranteed authentic , they are also members of BBB Better Business Bureau and hold the highest form of recognition, I really have to compare the price then decide I could wait until few more months I do not want to hurry I want to get the best deal for the rolex watch that I’m going to buy.

Customized Le Pliage

Finally! after weeks of waiting my customized Longchamp Le Pliage was here, my SIL and i ordered this knowing that size medium is the same size as the plain one but when we got the bag it is so small, we were a bit disappointed but it's ok our mistake. I used the bag yesterday and so far im loving it, good for everyday use and for travelling very light and easy to maintain, hopefully next time i could get it in medium size and gray color and i'll get it in plain coz it's way cheaper than customized super laki ng difference.

Need to Invest

After celebrating my birthday I realized that I’m not getting any younger, I really need to start investing my money wisely not by just buying bags or jewelries all the time I know that I can pass it on to my daughter but now me and my hubby decided that we should invest our money on a property but we still do not know if we are going to get a house and lot or a condo unit that we can rent out to get monthly income. We also plan to get a Real Property Management that can help us with choosing and managing our property soon. I really have to stop spending on nonsense things and start investing now so now.
