Japan Trip Day 8 to 10

On day 8 we went to Nikko about 2 hrs drive from Tokyo we visited 2 waterfalls. We were so tired after the long day but we still manage to walk around Ginza that night. Ayaw paawat coz last 2 days nalang. The only thing that i don't like about Tokyo is that the store close so early i think around 8-9pm close na then some open around 11pm pa. So at night you can't shop na tlga purely site seeing and eating.

Day 9 we went to Asakusa Temple we prayed and also bought some souvenirs, it's much cheaper there.

Last day, we took the 9:30am flight my FIL via Jal w/ my BIL me, MIL, hubby and mika via Pal luckily we got the same time so as our japanese friend won't have to go back, we were there very early and it was so cold outside as in im freezing maybe because it's too early anyway, my FIL flight was a bit delayed and the cause? Angelica P. and Derek Ramsey coz the airport staff are still checking their luggage prior to boarding (saw the newspaper the other week that they were at Tokyo for Swatch). Anyway, our flight went smoothly and our plane 747 each has own tv so mika was so entertained she watched Madagascar, listened to hannah montana and played some games.

Ranting

Hay i've been trying to check the rates at Pal online for hk flight and i was so surprised to see that it's so low even if i click the econo fiesta the Real deal promo price pops up so anyway y not right? great deal but every time i try my connection expires so i thought my internet connection in the ofc is so slow. I found out through my yahoo group N@W that many have been trying the promo also but to no avail even my brother has been trying since yesterday pero wala tlga! it's a Real fake promo! i think Pal shouldn't have that kind of promo if their system is having some problems they should fix it first nakakainis lang grabe! I hope they fix the problem and may makabook pa coz it's up to today only.

Organic Fashion Apparel

People are now being aware of our environment and they now choose eco-friendly items, whenever I go to supermarket they have this eco bags that they sell and they even give discount if you are using their eco bags. I really think that we should all be aware of the things we use make it all eco-friendly, I was so surprised to know that now we have eco-friendly fashion they only use organic products from shirts to bags and even watches this is a great way to show our love for the environment and I think we should support eco-friendly products it would really help us in the future and also for the future if our kids to give them better environment to live in. I already been trying my very best to help like re use all my paper bags in the house, using eco-friendly bags, and I will check out the eco-friendly clothes for me and for my daughter also.

Japan Trip Day 6 and 7

We took the shinkansen going to Hiroshima early in the morning, the place is far from Tokyo i think 4 hrs thankfully we were seated at business class so it's very comfy. shinkansen

We only stayed at Hiroshima overnight, on the next day we left our bags at the train station and took the ferry ride going to Miyajima it's a small island with lots of deer. We tasted one of the best french fries on this island they put iodized salt plus S&B black pepper which is really good i'm going to try it at home.posing w/ the deer

Japan Trip Day 3 to 5

Our 3rd day was spent at Kamakura, we visited a temple and also a catholic church there. After that we went to Yokohama the biggest chinatown in Japan, then went back to our hotel to drop our things coz we are gonna meet the family of our japanese friend Akira San and his bestfriend Takeshi San for dinner at a chinese restaurant near their place. It's our first time to meet Takeshi San he gave us 2 boxes of Japanese Strawberries so yummy! he even volunteered to bring us to disneyland. We're so grateful to our japanese friends.

We spent the whole 4th day at Disneyland the happiest place on earth our new friend Takeshi San accompanied us coz Akira San doesn't want to go but he went anyway he just waited drinking coffee the whole day and he's not familiar with the subway station. Takeshi is so kind and very patient waiting in line with us, grabe my hubby mejo tinamad coz the line took us 1 - 1 1/2 hrs for just one ride that's why we didn't get the chance to ride everything as in super daming tao maybe coz it's also their spring break that's why many locals talaga to think that we went there on a monday ah and too bad no more available fastpass. We didn't go to DisneySea also coz they say that mostly adults go there and nobody would accompany us anymore, they say better go back when mika is a bit older and better stay for 3 days inside disneyland, i felt so bad even mika is anticipating to go there next time nalang and better stay there talaga coz the disneyland is so big not like the one in HK super small lng, if you stay there you can get the fastpass and you'll have more time to go around. btw, the caramel popcorn at disneyland is to die for and it's not that sweet. I think most of the japanese snacks are not that salty and not too sweet it's just balance.

25th year anniversary of Tokyo Disney

Supposedly on the 5th day we're going to DisneySea but they cancelled so we just went around Ginza shopping but oh boy it's so expensive i only bought a shirt at H&M too bad no children section there it's better at HK, my BIL's went crazy shopping at Uniqlo a japanese brand but not that expensive, we just bought lots of snacks, chips to bring home and Yoku Moku grabe super sarap it's like barquillos but taste like butter cookies they also have with chocolate inside i'll post it next time. I didn't but any clothes for mika so expensive, just bought toys and cutie stuff for her from Sanrio! For me, shopping in HK is way better, Japan is for the scenery and food=) but me and my MIL bought something at Ginza we can't resist the temptation actually nahawa ko ang MIL im so BI i hope my FIL won't get mad at me =) i'll post it soon.

Japan Trip Day 1 and 2

We took the 2:30pm flight via Pal going to Narita airport but it was a little delayed but the whole flight went smoothly. When we landed at Narita my FIL, BIL and our japanese friend were waiting for us already btw they took the 9:00am flight via Jal coz my FIL always wants a separate plane. We had late dinner at the highway, we ordered our food by the vendo machine.

Our second day, we travelled for 3 hrs by land going to Tanigawadake ski resort, we really had a blast there, it was so cold but everybody enjoyed it so much.

After the snow, we still managed to go to Ueno Park even for a short period of time, we took a lot of picture of the sakura or what they call cherry blossoms just fyi sakura have four kinds with four different colors it has pink, white, green oppss i forgot the 2 other colors i have to ask again=)

Back to Reality

Since i came back from vacation i have been busy taking care of Mika, we had so much bonding time. Her yaya just came back yesterday and now i'm back at the office working again, but tomorrow i'll be absent again hehe because we have to attend a birthday party of mika's classmate it will be a swimming party and she is so excited already and of course to see her classmates again. Anyway, i have tons of things to do this week plus i have to help my cousin look for a western furniture that she need for her new home, she already saw some nice pieces in the internet and she want to show it to me, we just hope to do everything within this month because she needs to move in by next month already.

Online Dating

My sister is still single and until now she does not mind not having a partner but we all in the family wants her to find the right guy for her but she is just so choosy and we have a hard time setting her up. Do not ask her age because she would kill me if i say so but she is the eldest, i hope she would be more open to dating and maybe meet some friends online like what i saw the other day miami singles at the internet, it is interesting i just wish my sister try out something like that so she can finally meet her mister right.

I'm Back

from the vacation, we had so much fun at Japan i fell in love with the place i wish to go there every year if i have the mollah hehehe oh how i wish lang. Thankfully i survived taking care of mika the whole 10 days of the trip with a little help from hubby and the in laws and the BIL's, i'm currently busy taking care of mika now coz the yaya is still on vacation and will be back on saturday. I'll find time to post my Japan trip.

Another Vacation

As i blogged here last time i'm going on another vacation but this time with the whole family including my in laws and BIL, we're really excited coz it will be our first time to travel altogether and this is also our first time to travel without the yaya! so good luck to me.

Our destination Tokyo Japan grabe it's my dream to go to Japan and now its happening can't believe it. My in laws went there last year and they fell in love with the place, our Japanese friend is so kind to be our tour guide for the whole 10 days, he is such a very nice guy and also his family, he was also the tour guide of my in laws last year.

Things to do in Japan:
~ go to disneyland and disneysea with mika can't wait for this one i feel like a kid also.
~ go to Hiroshima and spend a night there.
~ go to snow mountain it'll be my first time to see snow yipeee
~ go to park for cherry blossom (we're just in time for the cherry blossom so lucky)
~ go to chinatown.
~ try japanese ice cream as per advice of my sis in law super sarap daw
~ try their crepe as per advice of my friend sarap din daw
~ meet up with my college friend who now works there as an english teacher.
~ try to check out some shops since we're gonna stay at Ginza a shopping destination! but i don't i can buy anything coz it will be so expensive but will definitely buy lots of sanrio stuff, mika and i both love sanrio items.

I won't be blogging when i'm there but i'll be back after 10 days with lots of kwentos and pictures. Enjoy the holiday!!!=) but let's not forget to pray to Him
